THE IMPORTANCE OF A WEBSITE

When I left photography school in 1998, I was very interested in 3d and special effects. I was lucky enough to do an "internship" with a company that owned 2 "Silicon Graphics", the type of hardware used at NASA before 2000, before the first Pentium was released, and costing several million Belgian francs. In short, it was a great opportunity to train. Little by little, I became the secretary, the assistant, the dog-walker, with a promise of a job. When the time came, he said to me, sorry, you're not versatile enough, you can't do a website.

Maybe that failure changed my life, but from that moment on, all my new projects started with a website, personally, to help me structure my ideas.

But of course, a website isn't just a notebook, it's a salesman who comes to your home and tells you: here you go, meet voicimon.art, he makes great showcase websites at an affordable price for all artists and freelancers, and what's more, he loves it, you can contact him here, look at his photo, he looks really nice, doesn't he? Oh, you don't need a site? Sorry, but he also does this, this and this. Go for it with your eyes closed, it's great, look what he's already done!

You get the idea. Over the years, the Internet has become more and more democratic, and not having a website is no longer just a question of cost. And even if you think you don't need one, that's a mistake. You don't need a business card, but it's still practical, isn't it? Having a business without a shop window is perfectly possible if your place of work isn't open to the public. But I don't think that dispenses with having a virtual shop window where your prospects can find you 7/7 if they need to, and which explains what you can do for them.

And if you tell yourself that your business is doing just fine as it is and that you don't need any more customers, then I think it's important, if only for vanity's sake, to add that polish that is a classy website, especially when it's so affordable.

You can announce your events, your actions, your schedules and your menu.

For artists, it's an incredibly easy way to share your work with people far away. Beautiful images that journalists can also use to illustrate their articles.

Don't miss the opportunity to make a good first impression.
